About Judie Ricciardi & Put It Together, llc

I was invited to have my first house on a house tour in Glastonbury, CT where I had painted murals on the walls and made several special window treatments. Outside I designed a patio in the shape of an artists palette, and put a small fountain in the spot where and artists thumb would normally go. It was a fun, creative and uplifting home. After the house tour, I received several calls from attendees that wanted my help in their homes. I did help them with arranging paintings, and color consultations and room arranging, however, I knew that I needed to further my education in design in order to be of more help.
Moving to California through my husband's business transfer provided the perfect opportunity to pursue interior design at Mesa College in California. I moved back to CT in 1977, and design has been my passion and career for the past 30 plus years.
Having taught design through adult education in Wilton and Woodbury, CT, I always inform clients why I suggest and idea, wall color, fabric selection or furniture placement. It's so helpful for the client to understand the "why's" of an idea, since it is their home and it's all about you, the client.
Slowly evolving into the green design path, I have steadily grown my client base in the green and environmentally friendly areas. Studying Feng Shui, and becoming certified, I also offer this service in my business. Many clients are very interested in using greener materials in their homes. Notice the fabrication of the custom organic sofas, chairs and NOW bean bag chairs we have developed. Whether a client is interested in green or traditional design, I can help with all of your design needs.
My client's are thrilled with their finished projects whether large or small. I realize how important customer service is in the computer age, and I have established wonderful relationships with the very best trades people and cottage industry workrooms. I am available for projects large or small, renovations, redesign, staging to sell, reupholstery, draperies and all fabrications and budgets whether green, organic or traditional interior design. I look forward to helping you bring your home to life by making it feel and look like you did it yourself. The whole design experience should be inspiring, exciting and fun!
