Judie Ricciardi, Interior Designer

Judie grew up in the beautiful seaside village of Noank, CT, an artist colony two miles from Mystic.  She is inspired by art and artists, color, light and the blues, grays and greens of Long Island Sound. Studying fine art at the University of Hartford was her entrée into the design field.

Her eye for design flourished in her first home in Glastonbury, CT where she painted murals on the walls and made special window treatments, even designing a patio in the shape of an artist’s palette, and put a small fountain in the spot where and artists thumb would normally go. It was a fun, creative and uplifting home. After Judie's home was featured on a house tour, she received several calls from attendees that wanted interior design help in their homes and that’s when Judie began giving color consultations and arranging rooms.

Design has been Judie’s path and passion for more than 30 years – studying at Mesa College in Mesa, CA and teaching design through adult education in Wilton and Woodbury, CT.

Many clients are very interested in using greener materials in their homes and Judie now works with green design principles and green design materials. “Whether a client is interested in green design or traditional design, I can help with all of your design needs.”
